Director of Product Managament

We are looking for a highly experienced Product Manager to develop and execute Clara’s go-to-market strategy for its first protein-based product. The comprehensive go-to-market strategy will include product positioning, branding, competitive analysis for protein-based products in multiple markets, as well as every other aspect of launching B2B and B2C products. You will also help inform Clara’s future product pipeline, and play a critical role in shaping the company. This position will interface directly with the CEO.

Sr. Process Engineer, Downstream Processing & Tech-transfer

We are looking for a Sr. Process engineer to join our process development and scale-up team at Clara Foods. Ideal candidates will have a Ph. D. in Bio/Chemical Engineering and at least 5 years, M. Sc. and at least 8 years, or B. Sc. and at least 12 years of experience in industrial settings (e.g. biopharma, industrial biotechnology) involving development and scale-up of multiple downstream processing unit operations including centrifugation, MF/UF/DF, column chromatography, SSMB chromatography, lyophilization, and spray drying. The ideal candidates must also have led successful tech transfer to CMOs at demonstration scale. The successful candidate will be working on the development and scale-up of of our recombinant egg-white protein production processes.

Fermentation Scientist/Engineer

We are looking for a Fermentation Scientist/Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a Ph. D. in Bio/Chemical Engineering, Microbiology or related field and with at least 1-2 years of experience in an industrial setting (e.g. biopharma, industrial biotechnology) involving fermentation operations including seed train, fermentation, centrifugation, and MF. The candidate is expected to plan, design, and execute fermentation process development and optimization experimental plans. Desired expertise should include design of experiments, data analysis, modeling, technology transfer, and scale up of fermentation processes for microbial strains, e.g. yeast and filamentous fungi. Successful candidates will be working on the development of our recombinant egg-white protein production processes.

We are looking for Process Development Associates. The ideal candidates will have 0 to 3 years of experience in an industrial setting (e.g. biopharma, industrial biotechnology) involving one or more unit operations including fermentation, centrifugation, MF/UF/DF, column chromatography, lyophilization, and spray drying.
